AN OPEN MIND IS ADVISED

In the summer of 2009 I was invited by the agency that does the design work for the Vancouver International Film Festival to create a piece for consideration for the events poster. The theme for that year was 'An Open Mind is Advised.' This was my submission.
I did not win, but felt very honoured to have been invited, along with 10 other Canadian artists, to give it a go. The winning design was by an artist by the name of Alex Mcleod. He does incredible work and is doing very well for himself these past few years.
Piece is 38"x48". Housepaints and acrylics on recyled plywood.
